I am positive Mr. Khan gave an completely accurate presentation. My criticism is of the Bureau of Lying Statistics...the numbers they use are corrupted. They are constantly under a Data Quality Act challenge.

Check out shadowstatsDOTcom for a graph of unemployment using the same method the govt did before hedonics and other deceptive government propaganda manipulations.

Did Sal mentioned Hedonic adjustments in CPI calculation? That's the greatest scam ever!

Please come back up khanacademy website!
IvanAndreevich Says:
CPI is a dumb way to measure inflation. Inflation is a monetary phenomenon - the increase in the supply of money. Price changes are secondary, and depend on other factors as well.

this video is way over my head back to the biology videos for me!
yannbane Says:
That is highly unlikely, I doubt Khan Academy would do such a thing. Also, why in some cases the average might wander off the actual state of things, it's usually a very accurate representation of it.
DonSSanders Says:
Average is not a person...it is simply a number on a graph. Are these numbers just manipulated for the sake of the U.S, bond market? Fake results to benefit a few fat cats?
