owning your own business because part of the system dumbass. the main thing is that people don't act corrupt. Great corporations are everywhere, even RBS are addressing sustainability loans for society.
result21 Says:
pretty much every business.
mustang607 Says:
Q: How many other groups have acquired the legal rights of a person?
DrTruthiness Says:
As much as I hate corporations, I will likely work for one for a few years to pay off my student loans. You can call me a slave all you want, but I can't help people by being the bank's bitch all my life, nor are any of you going to help me pay off my loans. After I'm done working for a corp, I can bitch about them with experience and tell people who praise them like the second coming to go fuck themselves with added vigor. I'd rather own my own business.

They need to make a change to the 14th Amendment; change the word "Person" with the words "Flesh And Blood HUMAN BEING (INDIVIDUAL/SINGULAR)".

BoBTheEND Says:
Why is that if I were to supply weapons to the Taliban, I am legally considered a "treasonous, seditious anarchist" and would be tried as such, yet a corporation that does the exact same thing won't even get a trial, even though we both are "legal entities"? Until that hypocrisy is resolved, I will never believe not support the notion that corporations are "legal" people in any way, shape or form.
aaronfromhastings Says:
Corporations are machines. So are banks. In other words, people are controlled by machines. Wrong way round isn't it?

wisefulone Says:
A corporation is a cult. A group of people that have an ideolgy, to make as much money that quarter.
edisonoside Says:
without morals...you can be easily 'made'..
edisonoside Says:
then a person is a corporation..
randy95023 Says:
If a Corporation was a "Person" you could murder it. If you are willing to spend the rest of your life in Prison you are free to kill any person you choose. It's a simple trade, your life for theirs. If Corporations were people someone who's child got cancer from a Dow chemical would be free to take a pistol and go "kill" Dow Chemical. After turning themselves in to authorities they might get 20 years in prison but Dow would be "dead"! It can't happen because Dow is NOT a person!
randy95023 Says:
Corporations are NOT people (despite what Mitt Romney and the Supreme Court says)! Scary that in the USA by the time you are 55 YOU are dependant on Corporations for most of your income. Check your IRA's, 401(k)'s, Mutual Funds and other retirement holdings. I'm 54 and have never made more than $60K in any one year by my labor. By this point in life some months I make more from my investments than I do from my 40hr JOB! I guess that means some months I'm a Capitalist & others a Worker...

LogicalFlawDetector Says:
Want to make a change: move libertarian! Corporate rights are sanctioned by the state.
MrRaymondBernard Says:
it isnt. youll find that people who dont have any tend to be more negative towards those who do.
